Arlington and the Stillaguamish River Valley, or the "Stilly Valley" as locals call it, is home to a wide variety of fun activities for kids and kids at heart.

Haller Park Splash Pad and Centennial Trail
For a day of summer fun, bring the whole family to enjoy the splash pad at Haller Park. Later in the summer when the waters are low, you can also wade in the cool waters of the Stillaguamish River. Visit the City of Arlington website for more information.
The Snack Shack at the park offers refreshments.
Be sure to bring along your sneakers, roller skates/blades, bikes, skooters, and/or skateboards/longboards to enjoy the adjacent 30-Mile recreational Centennial Trail, which offers a 10-foot wide multi-use paved trail.

The Outback Kangaroo Farm near Arlington offers educational tours of its Down Under critters, including; kangaroos, wallabies and wallaroos, llamas and alpacas, mini donkeys, pygmy goats, ringtail lemurs, parrots, and peacocks.
From March through October, four scheduled tours are offered Thursday through Sunday at 10:00 a.m., 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Explore Downtown and The Art Walk
Take a stroll down picturesque Olympic Avenue lined with local shops and restaurants and you're sure to discover a treasure, or culinary pleasure around every corner.
With over 35 public art works in 10 city blocks, the Arlington Arts Council has created an engaging Art Walk through downtown on the Centennial Trail. There are many fun stops along the way for kids, including Lebanon Park, featuring a walkable Labyrinth and Sound Garden with interactive, outdoor musical instruments for kids to play.

Year-Round Indoor Activities
Visit the Stillaguamish Valley Pioneer Museum. This must-see for all ages features a miniature replica of the Stillaguamish Valley logging railroad.
Pick out a piece of pottery at The Pottery Nook Art Studio and either paint at the studio, or at home.
Play a round of mini-golf at the family-friendly Steins Taphouse.
Bowl a few frames at Rocket Alley Bowling.
Arlington hosts many special community events throughout the year, including fun runs, parades, and street fairs. From summer concerts in the park Hometown Holidays and Harvest Festivals, there are so many things to do and see, you’ll be sure to find fun for everyone.
Aviation enthusiasts and casual admirers alike should plan to attend Arlington's nationally known Arlington SkyFest event, held the third weekend of August. This is the third largest Experimental Aircraft Association SkyFest in the country, featuring aerobatic pilots, colorful hot air balloons and drone show. Drive in event.
Farms, U‑pick, and Farmers Markets
Find yourself in a field of corn, taste the skin of sun-ripened crop and berries, or meander through the wares of local artisans and crafters at a farmers market.
The Arlington Farmer's Market runs every Saturday 10am-3pm July-September at Legion Park. The Centennial Trail runs adjacent to the park, making the market a pleasant and convenient lunch stop.
