Lake Stevens
A small town centered around its namesake, Lake Stevens offers gorgeous views of the Cascades.
The lake has both public and private shore lands, with sandy public beaches and public boat launches. Canoes, jet skis, airplanes, sailboats, surfboards, rowboats, windsurfers and activities like horseback riding, sunbathing, and fishing can all be enjoyed at Lake Stevens. The Centennial Trail stretches from Snohomish to north of Arlington - 29 miles long. You won't want to miss Aquafest, the biggest event of the year, held the last weekend of July.
Visit Eagle Ridge Park: This 15.6 acre park is named for the massive eagle nest perched in a cottonwood high above Lundeen Parkway. Motorists can enjoy glimpses of young bald eagles poking their heads out of the nest and or their parents perched nearby. The park will be preserved as a passive recreation nature reserve and will include trails, benches, interpretive signs and viewing platforms.
