Mukilteo is a scenic waterfront community with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and stunning views of Possession Sound and the Olympic Mountain range. It is the site where the 1855 Point Elliott Treaty was signed.
Conveniently located off of the I-5 corridor, just 10 minutes from Seattle Paine Field International Airport, Mukilteo offers easy access to many of the region's most popular amenities and attractions, including Boeing’s Headquarters and Future of Flight Museum.
It is a regional transportation hub for the Washington State Ferries, featuring the Mukilteo-Clinton route with service to Whidbey Island, and Sound Transit offers weekday trains to nearby Seattle from the Mukilteo Station.
"Mukilteo has commercial and industrial zoned land for new and expanding businesses and a regulatory environment where businesses can be entrepreneurs and succeed.
In December 2020, the Washington State Ferries opened a new modern Mukilteo Mulitmodal ferry terminal. Capitalizing on the State’s public investment, City waterfront revitalization plans feature a vibrant, active waterfront with recreational opportunities offering extensive public access to the water along with additional private investment from shops and restaurants."

"The cultural significance of the Mukilteo Multimodal Ferry Terminal transcends its function as a critical piece of transit infrastructure.
The project is located on the site where the 1855 Point Elliott Treaty was signed, guaranteeing perpetual hunting and fishing rights to the tribes on their ancestral lands. The project illustrates how sensitive placemaking, inclusive engagement, and environmental awareness can redefine civic architecture." -LMN Architects
