The Daytrip Shopping Experience - Alderwood Mall - Lynnwood
The Alderwood Mall, located just moments north of the Emerald City in the Greater Seattle Metropolitan area, is a walkable place to spend a day perusing 152 stores, lingering by a fountain, or stopping to dine.
The mall here has something for everyone on your journey: from jewelry, clothing and stuffed animals to sports equipment, luxury candy and video games.
Take a break at the food court or other family-style restaurants that surround the mall. You can catch a movie at the theater, sit next to indoor fountains, and catch a break at kids zone. The mall offers plenty of places to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Ample parking. Relatively easy access from I-5 and 405, a short drive north of Seattle.

Lifestyle Shopping With Dining - Mill Creek Town Center - Mill Creek
Mill Creek is a collection of high-end, highly walkable shops and boutiques. Shopping opportunities are interspersed with fine dining and international cuisine as well as gourmet coffee shops, making for a highly enjoyable walk-and-shop experience. The North Creek Trail is a walkable, bikeable path just to the west of the Town Center, and it's a 1.5-mile paved path through the forest.
When you go, you'll want to pick up something special for the pet in your life, hit a quick yoga session, invest in that indispensable piece of home decor, and top it off with appetizers and a beer at any of the local eateries. Secret tip: Central Market is a foodie's wonderland of cooking utensils and hard-to-come-by gourmet ingredients. If you like cooking while you travel, it's the place to go.
To get to Mill Creek Town Center, follow the Bothell-Everett highway north from 1-405 or take the eastbound 164th Street Exit from Interstate 5.
