Music Guide to Snohomish County
Everything for the music lover: all of the live music venues, festivals, and local artists that your ears can handle!
Music Venues
Hewitt Avenue venues
Hewitt Avenue is Downtown Everett's main drag. If you choose to "do it on Hewitt" as the locals say, you'll typically find live music pouring out of venues up and down the street. Here are your best options for catching your new favorite band.
Lucky Dime
1618 Hewitt Ave, Everett, WA 98201
Is it an art gallery? Is it a youthful hipster bar? Is it a venue for loud music and hip hop? Yes to all of the above! Lucky Dime is Everett's coolest venue for the kids. If you're a Gen Zer or are a Millennial who can handle loud music, checking out Lucky Dime is def part of your lucky day.
Tony V’s Garage
1716 Hewitt Ave, Everett, WA 98201
For the punk rocker who likes cheap, stiff well drinks, fried food, and pool tables in a no-nonsense rock and roll dive bar. Tony V's is where you'll bum smokes on the sidewalk and walk out with your new fave band t-shirt.
Black Lab Gallery
1618 Hewitt Ave, Everett, WA 98201
Artsy venue that has two(!) bars: one for each floor, plus a walk-up street food counter. The upstairs venue is where the music magic happens as live bands wail it out in front of big windows that overlook downtown Everett. Stop in for a show and stay for the drinks and food.
Historic Everett Theatre
2911 Colby Ave, Everett, WA 98201
Yes, it is haunted. Okay, we got that out of the way. And, technically, it's just a half block off Hewitt Avenue on Colby Avenue. The Historic Everett Theatre is over one hundred years old and, in its day, hosted a variety of nationally renowned performers and personalities, including Helen Keller, Fatty Arbuckle, and Lon Chaney, Jr. Today it hosts lots of tribute acts, comedians, and -- occasionally -- movies.
Angel of the Winds Arena
2000 Hewitt Ave, Everett, WA 98201
AOTW can handle the big arena acts like Neil Young, KISS, and Toby Keith. When the show's over, head across the street to get a slice of pizza at Brooklyn Brothers or get a four-star phad thai at Thai Gusto. Yummers.
Edmonds Center for the Arts
410 4th Ave N, Edmonds, WA 98020
Located in a converted 1930s school auditorium, the Edmonds Center for the Arts brings in nationally known music and dance artists to the delight of Pacific Northwest audiences. These concerts are seated and provide entertainment that is a step or two up (think ballet, string music, and folk trios). Enjoy!
Downtown Snohomish
Perhaps best known for its antiques and boutiques, Snohomish, WA is undervalued for its live music. After a day of exploring this charming riverside town be sure to stop in for a drink and some live music at any of these great music spots.
Pie Dive Bar
921 1st St, Snohomish, WA 98290
It's what it sounds like... and it's genius. Except that it's not really a dive bar. Snohomish is too classy for that. But it does combine savory and sweet pies with adult beverages in a cozy, PNW-ish setting. They often host live music, which, it turns out, is a fine compliment to a light dinner and drinks.
The Oxford Saloon
913 1st St, Snohomish, WA 98290
It was a brothel, now it's haunted. And it's a bar. And they host live music -- the kind that you may expect to hear at a bar: classic rock and blues, and a bluesy rock. Truly a unique old-timey bar worth checking out.
Spada Farmhouse Brewery
709 1st St, Snohomish, WA 98290
Raise a craft pint and enjoy acoustic ambience in this rustic-chic building. From the bones of the building (exposed brick walls) to the brews on tap, you have the ideal spot to chill out and just enjoy the moment.
Tulalip Resort Casino
10200 Quil Ceda Blvd, Tulalip, WA 98271
The Tullip Resort Casino draws the big acts that you know from pop radio of yesteryear. Bonus: after you're done at the concert, you can lodge in style at a four-diamond luxury hotel. Rocked out too hard? Yeah, I'm getting to be that age, too. Order some gourmet food to your hotel room and get a massage at the in-house spa to recover after a night of belting out the oldies.
Local Artists
LAKE
@laketheband
They did the theme song to "Adventure Time." But more than that, LAKE serve up some of the dreamiest, most thoughtful and well-orchestrated indie pop music that you've ever laid your ears on.
Dead Energy
@deadenergyband
Psychedelic garage rock for the kids. Dead Energy exemplify what Everett Gen Zrs love best: loud, sludgy rock that registers in your sternum.
RNNRs
@rnnrsmusic
This Everett-based hip-hip crew is comprised of artists Moth1 and T11. They trade verses over homemade beats and samples, bringing the aesthetic of "midwest backpack" hip-hop to the West Coast.
Pacifica Chamber Orchestra

Music Festivals
Fisherman’s Village Music Festival
Indie rock and IPAs take the center stage as crowds flock to multiple venues in downtown Everett for this annual event.

Rock the Mountain, Arlington
Classic rock acts give you that summer-will-never-end chillout festival vibe at this annual festival.
Music on the Marina, Everett
It's what it sounds like: a stage right on the waterfront that features a rotation of some of the region's top bands from across genres. Food trucks. Summer sunsets over the water. You get the picture.
Record Shops
Bargain CDs Records & Tapes
2501 Broadway, Everett, WA 98201
The name says it all, for this big ol' record store on Broadway in Everett is the place to dig through crates on crates on crates of vinyl. Full disclosure: the selection is hit or miss, and the prices can be all over the place. The patient record-hunter, however, can find many a turntable treasure if they systematically comb through the 45s and 33s.
Silver Platters
3715 196th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036
Lynnwood's big store has records a'plenty -- both new selections and quality used discs. This being the Greater Seattle Area, there's quite the selection of local and indie artists. If you're into audiocassettes and CDs they've got you covered, too.
Stargazer Records
127 Avenue C, Snohomish, WA 98290
Perfect for newbies to the vinyl scene. Build out your basics with a selection of Beatles, Stones, Bowie, etc. This is a tiny hole-in-the-wall mom and pop store tucked away on a hilly side street in Snohomish. Support local!
Apollo Exos Records
@apolloexos
Metalheads, rejoice! Apollo Exos is both a live music venue and a record store specializing in metal. Plus, they serve adult beverages that you can enjoy at their little bar.
Local Radio
KSER 90.7 FM
Independent public radio broadcasting live from a brick building in the heart of downtown Everett. KSER plays literally all the genres -- you may be surprised at the variety being produced from this indie radio station and its volunteer DJs.
